My host sister, who is a year older than me, and mother added me on Facebook today and we talked for quite a while! I also have a host father and brother, who is 8. They seem like they are almost as excited to have me as I am to live with them! I will be their first exchange student. They are very nice people and, thankfully, my host sister, Camila, speaks quite a bit of English, so that will help with the first few weeks while I'm adjusting to living in Ituzaingó! It's so exciting, and I'm glad it's becoming so real.
This is where I'll be living. It is approximately 30 km. away from the capital, Buenos Aires. Ituzaingó has a population of over 100,000 so it will be exciting to be in a city larger than De Pere that is also very close to a city of 3 million.
I don't know where I will be attending school yet, and there is a lot of information I don't know, but I will continue to document everything on this blog.
